Stapeley Community Hall

The Clerk to the Parish Council has resigned and will be leaving on 31 August 2023. As a consequence, until a new Clerk is appointed, arrangements for Community Hall bookings are changing with effect from 1 September 2023. The hall is available for use for parties or a variety of group activities. We would also be pleased to hear from any user groups who wish to use the hall for regular activities.

The hire charge of the hall has been increased from 1 April 2023 and is now a flat rate of £15 per hour, for a minimum hire period of three hours. This means that if your booking is for two hours only, you will still pay £45.00. The free half-hour set-up and clear-down time has also been removed and all clients are required to pay for their occupation of the hall.

A Duty Manager will open the hall for you and will return to close at the end of your booking.

The Parish Council believes that even with the increase in hire charges, they remain competitive and Councillors hope that people wishing to hire the hall will see that it is value for money.

More on the Community Hall

The hall has one large main room for the activities. It is approximately 35 ft x 33 ft and is large enough to take a small bouncy castle (9 ft high) but users must check with their provider to ensure that it will fit into the hall. There is a small kitchen with fridge, cooker and micro-wave, hot water supply for beverages and a few coffee mugs.
